Coking-grade ammonium sulfate granules provide the nitrogen nutrients required by crops

Nitrogen is one of the "three essential elements" for plant growth, directly participating in key physiological processes such as chlorophyll synthesis, protein construction, and photosynthesis. As a quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer, coking-grade ammonium sulfate granules exert the effects of their nitrogen nutrients mainly in the following aspects:

Promoting Vegetative Growth

It provides a sufficient nitrogen source for crops during the seedling and growth stages, facilitating the development of leaves and stems. For example, when applied to gramineous crops such as wheat and rice during the tillering stage, it can increase the number of effective tillers, make leaves dark green and plump, and enhance photosynthetic efficiency; when applied to vegetables (such as Chinese cabbage and spinach) during the growth stage, it can quickly increase leaf yield and reduce the phenomenon of "nitrogen-deficiency chlorosis".

Ensuring Reproductive Growth and Yield Formation

During the flowering and fruiting stages of crops, nitrogen can promote the development of floral organs, improve the fruit setting rate, and provide a nutrient foundation for fruit enlargement. For instance, topdressing fruit trees (such as apples and pears) after flowering can reduce flower and fruit drop; applying it to cotton during the boll-forming stage can increase boll weight and reduce the empty boll rate.

Adapting to the Needs of Nitrogen-Loving Crops

For crops with high nitrogen requirements (such as corn, sorghum, tobacco, and leafy vegetables), coking-grade ammonium sulfate granules release nitrogen at a moderate rate. This not only meets the continuous nitrogen demand of crops but also prevents excessive vegetative growth caused by "sudden nitrogen supply". It is particularly suitable for use as a base fertilizer or a topdressing during the growth stage.
